On Wednesday 4 November, Telstra Health supported a webinar event hosted by the Australian British Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) in which the Hon Greg Hunt, Minister for Health, shared his insights on the future of healthcare.

During the event, Mr Hunt shared his outlook for transforming healthcare in the post-pandemic era. He noted that the future of healthcare lies in the innovative technology that is rapidly transforming healthcare systems including the digitisation of integrated healthcare, Big Data Analytics and the Internet of Medical Things.

Mr Hunt also discussed the importance of patient-centric digital health and the rise, and rise of, telehealth for the future of healthcare.

Telstra Health’s Managing Director, Professor Mary Foley AM, participated in the event, alongside David McCredie, CEO of ABCC and Liz Chatwin, Country President at AstraZeneca.
