Clinical features include:

  • Comprehensive patient record - capture patient demographics and clinical notes electronically. Share patient records safely and securely across multiple locations and upload patient event and shared health summaries to My Health Record
  • Multiple care plans - activate more than one care plan at once for a patient
  • Pathology and Radiology - send and receive investigations with ease. Communicare interfaces with pathology software capable of sending common results formats including HL7, PDF and PIT files
  • Prescribe with confidence - MIMS integration allows clinicians to view product information while prescribing and alerts of contraindications. Communicare also integrates with eRx Script Exchange
  • Medication management - provides the ability to dispense, supply and administer medications. Allows you to manage imprests, verbal and standing orders and formularies
  • Templates - commonly used templates including medical certificates, referral letters and care plans are included and can be modified as required
  • Outstanding recalls, reminders, and referrals - easily accessible from both the clinical record and the reports library
  • Secure messaging capability – Communicare integrates with Argus to allow you to share hospital discharge summaries, outgoing and incoming referrals, and radiological images efficiently and securely

Practice Management features:

  • Electronic claiming / billing – for both Medicare and private patient claims. Alerts for invalid or expired cards and rejected claims
  • Appointments – separate appointment book and service recording modules enable you to book appointments in advance whilst keeping track of real time walk-ins and attendances. Appointments can be maintained and updated across multiple service providers and ‘drag and drop’ provides added efficiency
  • Online Appointments – third party integration to allow your patients to book online
  • Transport modules - stay up to date with patient and staff movements. Transport can be booked manually for individual patients or automatically when an appointment is booked
  • SMS capability - increase clinic attendance by sending individual or batched SMS’s to an entire group. Selection criteria and message content can be customised for purpose, and statistics can be collected on messages sent and their progress.
