General Practitioner and clinical leader Dr Pratiksha Nirmal has been appointed Clinical Director at Telstra Health, commencing on 7 September 2026.
Dr Nirmal joins Telstra Health’s Clinical Excellence and Risk team at a pivotal time as the organisation continues to deliver on its Here for Life vision, combining clinical excellence, trusted technology and connected care across the healthcare ecosystem.
A Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Dr Nirmal holds qualifications including MBBS, BSc and MRCGP. Since qualifying as a doctor in 2012, she has built extensive clinical experience across a range of healthcare settings before specialising in General Practice.
Dr Nirmal’s scope of clinical expertise spans women’s health, sexual health, mental health and chronic disease management including diabetes and cardiovascular health. She is also passionate about medical education and previously worked as a Medical Educator for the RACGP. She is currently an Adjunct Lecturer at Monash University, supporting the next generation of medical professionals throughout their training.
