2021 has been a challenging year for many organisations and providers across the health and aged care sectors, and we are proud to have continued supporting our partners through our digital health solutions and systems and the teams behind them.

Some key highlights include:

  • Our Aged and Disability team continued to support more than 210 providers covering over 62,000 beds, and we supported 527 providers through our Virtual Health Monitoring devices and 304 providers through our Virtual Clinical Services solution.

  • In operating the National Cancer Screening Register on behalf of the Australian Government, we distributed 3.5 million bowel screening kits to participants who are part of the National Register, and we issued 12 million pieces of correspondence to participants and health professionals.

  • Our Primary and Community Health team supported more than 8,000 healthcare professionals through Communicare, our digital health and care solution for community and health services, and this covered over 3 million patient records and was used by 73% of Aboriginal Medical Services throughout 2021.
